The Star of Texas Fair & Rodeo was formed by a small group of people that over the years has grown into a network of over 1,500 volunteers contributing their time to over 30 committees.

Junior Leader: Annual Member
The Junior Leader Committee allows young men and women ages 13-20 the opportunity to interact and participate as volunteers as well as serve as ambassadors for Rodeo Austin. Junior Leaders will learn valuable lessons and gain community experiences that can be added to college resumes. Youth who are interested in serving on this elite committee of young leaders will interview with Rodeo Austin officials to discuss their goals. Requirements of acceptance for this committee are at the sole discretion of Rodeo Austin; applicants must be approved after the interview for appointment to the committee.
