Youth Auction

Beginning as early as June, students select livestock projects and begin the arduous task of raising a show quality animal to be judged in March at the Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo.

After months of caring for their livestock, more than 6,000 youth from across Texas travel to Austin annually to compete for the coveted title of Grand Champion.

The judges then select the most superior projects, the top 370, to be proudly showcased in the Youth Auction.

Community leaders, local businesses and supporters of STFR then assemble to reward these victorious individuals for their accomplisments at the Youth Auction, March 27th at The Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum.

This process teaches youth virtures such as dedication, responsibilty and pride, developing necessary life skills and preparing them for the future.

If you would like to support these youth through a donation, please see the links below for a 2009 Auction Contract or select the option below for online buyer registration.
