Shoot Out Sporting Clay Tournament

The Shoot Out Sporting Clay Tournament is one of Rodeo Austin's premier events.  Tournament participants are treated to the outdoor enthusiast’s dream day complete with friendly competition, games, and awards.  The event includes great food, drink and features a silent and live auction.  

There are three flights available 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and the Premier Flight at 3 p.m.  Five shooters per team, shooters must bring own 12 or 20 gauge shot gun, all ammunition will be provided by Rodeo Austin!

BBQ Auction & Concert

Rodeo Austin's BBQ Auction & Concert is a tremendous evening of silent and live auctions, great BBQ and live music. Guests are treated to a BBQ dinner by one of Austin's favorite BBQ joints while bidding in a live auction full of hunts, golf packages and many other surprises.  The event concludes with live music by Tracy Lawrence, a multi-platinum CMA and ACM award winning recording artist who has helped shape the sound of Country music for two decades.

Fashion and Fine Art

Fashion and Fine Art is an opportunity to witness the talent of young ladies from across the state in the Miss Rodeo Austin Scholarship Contest, as well as view some of the finest western art from aspiring high school artists at our Youth Western Art Show.  The Youth Western Art Show is a free event open to the public and consists of Art viewing and an award presentation. The Miss Rodeo Austin Style Show and Coronation is a ticketed event. Included in the price of admission is dinner with acoustic country entertainment! Join us for a fabulous event supporting the Youth of Texas!

Rodeo Austin Gala

The Rodeo Austin Gala is one of Austin's largest black tie affairs!  The evening kicks off with a complimentary cocktail hour, which guests can enjoy while perusing the extensive silent auction. Silent auction bidding is made easy with fast and fun mobile bidding and continues well into the evening.

Guests also enjoy a gourmet dinner while being treated to live music entertainment. A one-of-a-kind live auction takes place shortly after the opening act and has included exclusive packages ranging from African safaris to limited edition Winchester rifles. The evening concludes with a chart-topping, boot-stomping headlining act that is sure to bring the house down.

The Rodeo Austin Gala is a highlight of the winter season, and you and your friends will not want to miss this event!

Cowboy Breakfast

The Cowboy Breakfast is a super-sized Texas breakfast that kicks off the Fair and Rodeo. Come enjoy pancakes, authentic chuck wagon biscuits and more at this free event. Featuring western-themed entertainment, live music and two-stepping lessons, the Cowboy Breakfast is fun for all ages.


BBQ Austin

BBQ Austin is a fun event for the public to attend, as well as a great team building event for companies and groups who wish to participate. BBQ Austin has two (2) divisions, Champions and Open. Cities from all over Texas send their Champion BBQ Teams to compete in our Invitational Division for the title of “State of Texas BBQ Grand Champion.” Additionally, all our teams compete for the title and purse of “BBQ Austin Grand Champion.”
All BBQ Teams, while competing in several contests, provide BBQ to the public for sampling. Many teams will also set up elaborate spaces to welcome folks to join in on the fun. Everyone is welcome and donation jars are provided in each team space for public donations to help raise funds for the Scholarship Program. Come join the fun!

Scholarship Awards Ceremony

Rodeo Austin will proudly award $512,000 to 36 deserving students at this special event. Volunteers, sponsors, donors, partners, university representatives and parents will gather to meet the new recipients and honor them during the Awards Ceremony. This event marks the conclusion of a year's worth of hard work fundraising to support the Scholarship Program. The event will begin with a reception at 6:00pm and then formal presentation will begin promptly at 6:30pm. The evening will consist of special speakers, information on Rodeo Austin, and each recipient will walk across the stage to accept their scholarship.
